The world’s largest Indigenous media arts festival is marking its 25th year, creating space for Inuit and circumpolar artists who work in film, digital storytelling, and emerging technologies.
About the Festival
ImagineNATIVE is a gathering place for Indigenous artists who work in film and media arts. Your work can be shown in two ways: on the big screen at TIFF Lightbox in Toronto, or through imagineNATIVE’s online streaming website.
Festival Dates & Location
- In-person: June 3-8, 2025 at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Toronto
- Online: June 9-15, 2025 via imagineNATIVE’s streaming platform
Submission Criteria
- Films and videos
- Digital and interactive projects
- Sound and audio works
- Virtual reality projects
- Games and digital storytelling
Projects can be made at any budget level and don’t need to focus on Indigenous themes—all stories and subjects are welcome.
Submission Deadlines
- Early Bird (Free): November 1-15, 2024
- Regular Deadline: November 16, 2024 – February 7, 2025 ($5 CAD fee)
